ARE YOU MOVING TOWARDS YOUR DESTINY?

Movement is the act or process of moving, a change in place, position or posture; to go in a specified direction or manner, to walk, proceed, make progress, to set or keep in motion. Every Task, Deed, Service and All we seek to accomplish or pursue requires Movement. However, the root meaning is 'to move', with its Hebrew origin stating a variety of different meanings such as to tremble, to quake, to quiver, to shake, to wound, to cut, to sharpen, to agitate, to cause to go, to set in motion, a disturbance and a riot, to name a few.

The original meaning reveals how our movements can cause major impacts and wreak havoc upon our lives; with further descriptions meaning to stagger, to wander and to totter which means to move, walk or sway unsteadily, often due to weakness, intoxication or instability. The original meaning is the product of our actions when we make movements that are thoughtless, inconsiderate and careless. We create chaos, disharmony and destruction producing adverse reactions all around us. They are the witness and proof to who we are and what we become; whether move or movement, they are "The Evidence in Life" and carry very powerful energies that the ramifications of our actions can be crucial. The questions are: Are you Moving in Alignment with your Soul's Journey? Are you moving with Love? Are you Focused? Are you Moving with Intentions? Are you Moving towards that which you should be Releasing? Are you Moving away from that which you should be Embracing? Or are you Standing Still and doing Nothing?

This is the beginning of a Brand-New Cycle and Reset Point, ushering in this year's Chinese Zodiac of the "Fire Horse," which means a Time of Movement. The Fire Horse began on February 17th and will be in effect until February 5, 2027; this is the time for you to be Courageous, Take Action and Be Bold. The year in which you lead your life with Awareness, Purpose and Determination; this Movement carries the Vibrations of Power, Creation and Manifestations. However, before I move forward regarding the Horse, I will talk about last year's Zodiac which was the "Wood Snake", which is about Endings and Closure.

SHEDDING THE OLD

The past nine years have been about Healing, Releasing, Letting Go, Endings and Closures: You were challenged to ascend consciously, see through the illusions, heal, release and let go of hurts, pains, traumas, unhealthy behavior patterns and toxic relationships. To part ways with all of which were keeping you stagnant, limited and unproductive. Nature itself shows us the necessity of releasing and letting go: when your bladder is full, you release, when it's time to eliminate body waste you do, when you become emotionally overwhelmed you cry. Even animals knows when it's time to release their young that they may learn to be independent. However, God's most intelligent of all his Creations who were made in his likeness and image, is the least in determining when to let go of the things that hinders our human evolution. This should not be, but you should be learning, growing and maturing spiritually just as you do physically. Just like when you were a baby, someone had to change your diaper, then you grew up and learned how to go on your own. Likewise, know when to make the changes for your spiritual advancement; no one knows what's best for you better than you, so know when to move and then make that move.

With these energies at work, many of you learned that the people in your life were not at all of whom they claimed to be. Therefore, there may have been some relationships that came to an end, be it family, friend or romantic in nature. Even truths regarding the standards of living of Leaders within our City, State, Government and the Country as a whole; yet the veil continues to thin, that you may see and understand all things with clarity. God allowed these deceptions that you may awaken from a state of slumber and sleep; that you may walk in a heightened awareness, spiritual maturity and stand as an independent soldier of righteousness. This most likely left you feeling hurt, disappointed and betrayed; if so, it is essential that you do not harbor anger, bitterness, hatred or any behaviors as such. You cannot control other people's actions, but you are in control of how you respond, so don't allow what others do affect who you are. Therefore, you must forgive and still love: if you allow unforgiveness to dwell in your heart, it will hinder you from moving forward. You may find it difficult to forgive at first, but it is necessary and you really don't have a choice if you want to grow spiritually. It may take a while before you are able to forgive because of the emotions that you are processing. On the other hand, that which you thought was a loss was actually clearing and preparation to move you forward. However, if you refuse to forgive, then that's an indication that you are not living from your heart space, and neither are you connected to the heart of God.

Nevertheless, these upheavals were designed to prepare you for this New Cycle that we have recently embarked upon; we were placed in situations to test us, that we may learn the lessons which were necessary to obtain spiritual transformation. The transition which marks that moment you shed the skin that you have outgrown and move you into a Destiny that calls you forward. A snake sheds its skin because it has grown, then keep moving; they don't return to the old skin and try to put it back on. So, why is it that we take those things that we have outgrown and dress ourselves in them. We do it for many reasons: to fit in with the crowd, loneliness, boredom, comfort or habits that we enjoy; but the next time you decide to pick up that old skin, tell yourself, "You don't need it anymore." Our role and duty were to learn the appropriate lessons for renewal and inner growth, bringing about endings and closures, that we may be ready to move into the New. This means we were challenged to strip away everything that wasn't in alignment with our Divine Nature. It was a call for us to shed the old: to release toxic habits, weights, heaviness and to face those buried or suppressed truths, that we so often avoid.

To come to a place of knowing when to let go of these behaviors instead of returning to them and reviving what should be dead. We return to old patterns trying to resist the changes that our higher self is ready to claim. Then we find ourselves living in survival mode not seeing things for what they truly are which is to embrace and flow with the changes occurring within, allowing them without resistance. To learn how to embrace endings, rest, relax and leave all that needs to be left behind; endings happens that new beginnings can occur, making room for what's next. Sometimes we get right at the door of our breakthrough then revert back to old habits, but we must break away from those restrictions, former roles and surroundings that limit our self-expression. Anything we build out of avoidance, doubt or fear must be challenged to transform and release. This allows for clarity, truth, emotional release, easy flowing and transitioning. It's also possible that situations occurred that triggered a forced ending and this is because you failed to see through the illusions, rid your fears and be intentional regarding growth. If so, know that it was for your good, for that was the Grace, Mercy and Love of God at work. However, if you neglected to shed that old skin, then you have not prepared yourself to receive of the Blessings that corresponds with this New Cycle.

EMBRACING THE NEW

Nevertheless, whether you prepared for this New Cycle or not; the shedding is done and we are undertaking the Energy of the Fire Horse: This energy sets the tone for the next nine years: it is Fast, Quick, Alive and Geared to Push your Life Forward. This is a '1' year (2+0+2+6=10, reduced to 1) which indicates Fresh Start Energy and the 'Horse' year is Forward Moving Energy; they demand action, speediness and courageous decision making. The Elements of the Fire Horse is Fire, Movement, Courage, Freedom, Speed and Rebirth: Your passions will be intensified and the spark within will blaze the more; the increased energy flow will give you natural boldness to be courageous in your movements, while also providing clearer directions. You will experience rapid manifestations, restrictions will fall away and a stronger version of yourself will emerge, natural, determined and unstoppable. These energies are pushing us away from toxic patterns, putting an end to repeated behaviors and getting us into movement; to bring about bold changes, creations, liveliness, courage, independence, freedom, renewed passion and eagerness for life. It is a prompting to us that growth requires movement, and we must make a conscious effort to choose our directions. The combination of these two energies brings about accelerated beginnings and something powerful happens.

Moving transitions us from one place to another and serves as an energy shifter; movement is usually called for when we have a specific goal in mind that we wish to achieve. Movement carries a lot of weight, and it is the basis of our existence. Your movement can give life, or it can take away life, it can heal or it can hurt and it can mend or it can destroy. Whether it's getting a glass of water, changing the television channel, going to the grocery store or driving to work, you gotta make that move; it is an energy that causes things to happen, and you get where you are going, literally. However, we must be mindful of what kind of fruits that our movements produce: Instead of moving in a thoughtless manner, consider these: What are the influences behind your movement? How are your movements affecting others? Are your movements causing harm to others? Are your movements selfishly motivated and constructed? Are you sowing good seeds with your movements? Movement stirs up our Passions, Emotions and Increases the Power of the Energy Force, so make your movements count for something.

This is not a slow, quiet year, but it increases momentum, bravery and decisive actions. Get to moving, stop waiting on what you think is the perfect moment, choose movement over fear, trust your instinct, stop over thinking and act on what you already know to do. Move with an open heart, allow the ego to die, that your Soul may rise; release those practices that keeps you stagnant, speak your truth, even it feels painful, unbearable or uncomfortable. Move to make progress, not perfection, but striving in motion to activate things to get them moving and active. If you did the inner work, then the seeds you've planted and the cleansing you've done will begin to pay off; you will indeed see the fruits of your labor.

This year is about forward motions, renewed strength, manifesting, moving with purpose, passion and a focused mindset. No longer are we going in circles yet getting nowhere, but it's a time for making your dreams a reality and witnessing the sacrifices you've made yield your due reward. The time to give life to the things that you have longed and hoped for; the time where the future becomes the now and embracing those things you were afraid to claim or have been delaying. Your desires can come into fruition because you chose courage over fear, actions over stillness and truth over comfort; a time of breakthroughs, amazing opportunities, elevation and a clearer Path. It's the light after the darkness, the calm after the storm, the reassurance after hardship, the exhale, the relief, the freedom and the reclaiming of all you thought you lost.

Sometimes God has to move your blessings to the sideline, until we bring our Mind, Heart and Soul into alignment, then he gives you the Overflow. If we are not functioning with a balanced mindset, then we won't act responsibly or wise when our abundance flows in. Imagine what would happen if God blesses you to be a Millionaire and you've got bucoos of unhealthy behavior patterns, toxic relationships, lacking in wisdom and full of ego. What do you think will happen? The same thing that happens when these Hollywood stars, Musicians and the other Rich and Famous go BROKE! As the saying goes, "A Fool and His Money Are Soon Parted." God desires to bless us with Wealth and Abundance but he expects us to be good stewards over our money. So, he prepares us by stripping away any and everything that will steer us wrong, a move that's necessary; once he sees that you will do the right thing then he can allow you to receive what's rightfully yours.

ALIGNING WITH YOUR DESTINY

The Main Purpose for Movement is to bring yourself into alignment with your Destiny. Destiny is referred to a specific future outcome that results from a predetermined or inevitable course of events. However, although things may be fated to occur, the end result will be determined by your actions. With the working of your own hands, you can destroy what was predestined for you to receive. If you make the wrong moves or fail to move when you should, then what is intended for you could pass you by. There are time frames in which we must work within, timelines, seasons and cycles. Your movements will either move you towards your Destiny or away from it: So, if you are not consciously and intentionally positioning yourself then you are automatically moving in the opposite direction. Our movements are characterized by the actions we display, through the use of our body members. Your movements will either raise you up or pull you down; if you haven't prepared yourself to move with these fiery energies, now is the time to do so. You still need to heal, release and let go that you may align with your Destiny, and live in your Divine Flow and Highest Purpose.

Your mind is the first thing that you should bring into alignment: Otherwise, any attempts to move forward will be in vain. You must make sure that the thoughts that you allow to capture your mind and hold position are designed to build you and make you stronger. Thoughts enter your mind by what you see, hear, feel or desire which are influences from your environment and surroundings. With that being said, What are you looking at? What are you listening to? What are your feelings and desires? When you move your tongue, are you building up or tearing down? When you look at another, are you piercing them with an evil eye, or care and concern? What you put out is a reflection of what dwells on the inside; so, you must decide if your thoughts and actions are building you or ruining you? Are they moving you in alignment with your Destiny or further from? This is where you must proceed with caution because whatever you allow to occupy your mind will take root within your heart. Once desires manifest within your heart, they will be carried out through your actions. Your hands will either help or hurt you and your feet will transport you to grounds of righteousness or unrighteousness. When you come into full alignment with your Life Path, then everything that is meant for you will come to you. You begin your alignment when you set your heart towards God by aligning your thoughts, ways and action with his. You are the Overseer of your Destiny!

"Lord, who shall abide in your tabernacle? Who shall dwell in your holy hill?   He that walks uprightly, works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart.  He that does not back bite with his tongue, nor does evil or takes up a reproach against his neighbor.  In whose eyes a vile person is contemned but he honors them that fear the Lord. He that swears to his own hurt, and changes not.  He that does not put his money to usury, nor takes reward against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved." (Psalms 15: 1-5)

THE COURAGE TO MAKE THAT MOVE

Often times we find ourselves in situations where we know that it's time to make a particular move, but we neglect to. Most of the time it's because of fear but we should never allow fear to prevent us from taking action. If you allow fear to take over and you refuse to move when we should, then you find yourself in a place of stagnation. In this position you cease to flow energetically and begin to decline; due to inactivity you come to a standstill because you decided to do nothing. When facing decisions that appear challenging or more difficult, then it requires faith, courage and boldness.

However, you will never know if you sit and do nothing: if you are hesitant about taking actions that you feel strongly that you should, then there needs to be a shift in your mindset. This means that you have to make a conscious effort to make the move; to take into consideration the pros and cons of the move that you are contemplating. How does the move benefit you? What will happen if you don't move? How will this move change your life? What's the worst that can happen? Will it be a loss if you don't move? Answering these questions should make your decision easier and give you clarity on taking action.

In 2 Kings Chapter 7: There are four leprous men who sat at the entrance of the gate to the City of Syria. It was during a time where there was a famine in the land, and they conversed amongst themselves on whether they should or should not enter the city.  The Syrians were their enemies, yet they were hungry: So, they said to each other, "If we enter into the city, then the famine is in the city then we will die or they might kill us, and if we continue to sit here, we will also die." Then they said to one another, "Why sit here until we die?" So, they decided to take their chances and enter the city, even if it meant them being killed by the Syrians because either way they were facing death. In the twilight, they arose to go unto the camp of the Syrians: they walked throughout the camp entirely, but they saw no one. They went from tent to tent, eating and drinking, while also taking silver, gold and clothing and hiding it.

They realized that what they had discovered was good and that they shouldn't keep quiet about it; so, they left to inform the king's household. However, the King thought that it must be a trap because no way would the Syrians abandon their camp in such manner. So, the king sent out men to the outskirts of the camp to test his theory; all the way was full of garments and vessels that the Syrians had thrown away in their haste to escape, and they returned and told the king. So, the people went in and took everything from their enemies' camp.

There was no one there because God made the Syrians to hear a Great Noise of Chariots and Horses: They thought that their enemies were coming upon them to destroy them, so, they arose and fled for their life. They left all their belongings behind; they left their tents, horses, asses and all their valuables. These four lepers faced death, no matter which way they viewed their situation; however, they made a bold stance and moved with courage into the enemies' camp. In doing so, they received more than what they had anticipated: not knowing that God had already cleared the way for them and all they needed was the courage to move.

In some cases, staying put is not an option, it can sometimes mean a matter of life and death. When the weather man states that a tornado has touched down and you need to get in a safe place; you don't waste time moving. When someone yells, "Fire" you immediately get to moving even though you haven't seen any smoke. When the Government tells you that you can receive a stimulus check and all you have to do is apply; you move with flying colors and then you send out a broadcast message to everybody you know. When someone gives you an invite to a Super Bowl party, you say count me in! Or when your girlfriends plan a Girl's Trip, you're on board every time. Now, there is nothing wrong with doing the things you enjoy but it is not wise to neglect your spiritual growth in the process; you must practice living a balanced life. Our movements must be motivated by more than just fear, desires, wants and good times, but we must learn to embrace those things that positions us to receive good at the hand of God. Movement is not just physical, but you must position yourself mentally, emotionally and spiritually as well: then keep moving even when facing obstacles, struggles, trials and tribulations.

Practice moving in silence for it is not wise to disclose your plans to others if they are not relevant to the moves you're making. Years ago, I attempted several projects that I shared with people, I thought that I could trust. I was so excited and proud of what I was seeking to achieve, and I assumed they would be happy for me. It seemed as though all my efforts would fail to produce anything tangible each time. Years later God revealed to me that the people I was sharing my moves with were part of the Ivy League to destroy me and were sabotaging my efforts. When I reflect back it all makes sense now, why everything I set out to achieve would flop. So, don't be so quick to share your plans, visions or dreams with others. Utilize the Energy of the Fire Horse and step into your Destiny! Be Bold, be Courageous and have Faith that everything will work to your good.

KNOWING WHEN TO MOVE ON

"There comes a quiet moment in life when the heart begins to understand something the mind tried to ignore for a very longtime. It is the moment when you finally realize that not everyone who walks beside you is meant to stay. Some people arrive like lessons dressed as friendships, and some smiles hide storms that slowly erode your peace. You spend years believing that loyalty means holding on, that kindness means tolerating everything, that love means never letting anyone go; but happiness begins on the day you discover that protecting your peace is not selfish, it is necessary." ~Maya Angelou ~

We often times find ourselves holding on to situations, circumstances and people that have run their course in our lives; in doing so we block those things that are meant to manifest, and we prevent ourselves from aligning with our Life Path. Our human nature is to resist and fear change for we are creatures of habit, but we end up doing injustice unto our own selves. You may find yourself in a position where a relationship abruptly ended and you battle with moving on. Holding on will only affect you negatively and is an indication of attachment issues, insecurities and lack of self-love. The first rule of change is acceptance: Although accepting change doesn't always come easily it is vitally important and we must come to understand that EVERYTHING happens for a reason.

Most of us are familiar with the Movie, 'Fatal Attraction' which displays a careless decision that led to stalking, psychotic behavior and attempted murder; all because she was unable to accept that her romantic fling had come to an end. She could not bring herself to move on and she became an emotional wreck. Although, this is just a movie, this sort of thing happens in real life with the root cause being lack of self-love. When you practice self-love then you don't put yourself in positions of such ruin and destruction. Holding on when you should move on is self-sabotage and causes energy depletion, mental entrapment, loss of peace and harmony in your life.

Life is full of unexpected circumstances, and we must be mentally prepared when those moments plunge into our lives. A 55-year-old man gets laid off from a job where he has worked for the past 30 years; such changes later in life can be devastating, fearful and shattering. However, this unfortunate incident has occurred, and all he can do is move on. Instead of accepting the change and moving on, he becomes consumed with grief, bitterness and anger. He begins drinking heavily and behaves abusively toward his wife. A few months passes and he has sunken in a state of severe depression and mental decline; he's been sitting around feeling sorry for himself and drowning in self-pity. After not being able to find a job in his line of work, he has convinced himself that his life is useless and unfulfilled. This burden becomes more than he can bear and he eventually commits suicide; a week later, his wife answers a phone call, in which he has been hired for a job that he applied for. When we are not able to move on after life throws us a curve ball then we set ourselves up to fail and self-destruct. It's vital to walk in self-love, be accepting of change and know when to move on; when you love yourself then you protect yourself.

Here is an example which is very simple, but the message is the same: I've been keeping my granddaughter for about a year now. We have this one favorite show that she likes to watch on the Kids and Family channel; for ten months straight, we watched the same episodes over and over and over. One day I tuned in for her to watch it and when I searched it, it stated that it was 'no longer available.' I was a little disappointed but then I searched it on YouTube; so, we began to watch it there and saw lots of new episodes that we had never seen before. So, what appeared as a loss was actually an upgrade.

And that's the way life is: We must learn to see change as an opportunity for better: Loss can be hard sometimes, but you can't lose yourself and that's what happens when you refuse to accept the changes you face. If God is the center of your world, then anything you lose will always be for your best because he is orchestrating the change. If you need to cry, then cry, pull a couple of strings from your head, whatever, but let go and be willing to leave it behind!

In Genesis Chapter 12: God told Abram (Abraham) to leave his country and family and go to the land where he would lead him to. He didn't know where he was going but God told him to move and he moved. After which, God made a Covenant with him, that he would make him a Great Nation, bless him, make his name great and make him a blessing to others. Then he said, "I will bless them that bless you, curse them that curse you and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed." So, he departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him and his nephew Lot went with him. Abraham was known as the Father of Nations, a friend of God, one who pleased God with his strong faith; therefore, God rewarded him, made him great and gave him a new name.

In Genisis Chapter 19: God had decided to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because the cities were filled with much wickedness. God sent two angels to Lot to inform him of his plan and also to instruct him to leave the city or he would be destroyed along with them. However, the city would not be destroyed until Lot and his family had gone from it. So, Lot went to his two sons in law and told them that God was about to destroy the city and they needed to leave, but they paid him no mind and ignored him. The following morning, the angels hastened Lot, saying, "Arise, take your wife, and your two daughters, which are here unless you be consumed in the iniquity of the city." They still continued to linger that the angels actually had to take Lot, his wife and two daughters by their hand and set them outside the city, for the Lord was being merciful unto him.

The angels then said, "Escape for your life and do not look behind you, neither stay anywhere within all the plain; escape to the mountain, unless you be consumed." Lot did not want to go to the mountains in fear that some evil would come upon him and he die. Lot requested to go to another city instead and the angels accepted his request and spared the city where he was heading to. Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from heaven; he overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities and all that grew upon the ground. But Lot's wife looked back and she became a pillar of salt. Then Abraham (Lot's Uncle) got up early in the morning and looked towards Sodom and Gomorrah and everything was as a smoking furnace. Lot was not destroyed because God remembered Abraham in which he had promised him that he would give Lot a chance to get out before he destroyed the cities.

God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of their evil and wicked practices: but he gave Lot and his family an opportunity to escape the destruction. However, his wife looked back after being warned not to; looking back is not just about using the eyes, but it is a mindset. We must be willing to depart from the things that works to our detriment: this means giving no thought or actions to that which you should be letting go of and leaving behind. When we start thinking backwards then we start moving backwards; this will cause you to be stuck and unable to move forward. In this position you are not able to accomplish anything and just like Lots wife, you're just a lifeless structure of stone. So, keep moving forward with purpose and intent!

In Jonah Chapter 1: God said to Jonah, "Go to Ninevah and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me." Jonah, knowing that God is merciful and would forgive them chose not to go; so, he took a ship to another city, fleeing from the presence of the Lord. But God sent a great wind into the sea, so much that the ship was about to be broken. Everyone on the ship began to panic and became fearful for their lives. Jonah explained to them that it was his fault because he had disobeyed God and for them to throw him overboard into sea. So, they threw him over: God had prepared a great fish to swallow him up and there Jonah stayed for three days and three nights. Jonah thought his life was over, but he used that time to self-reflect and afterwards, he prayed unto the Lord. God then spoke to the fish, and it vomited him out upon the dry land. God gave Jonah the assignment again and he went and did as God had commissioned him.

The people repented and God forgave them and spared their lives, but Jonah was very angry and complained to God. Jonah felt that because the people were so evil, that they deserved to be punished, and told God that he might as well take his life. Afterwards he went and sat under in a hide away spot, so he could watch and see what happens to the city. So, God did something that would cause Jonah to take a look at his selfish ways. While he sat, God made leaves to cover over his head to keep the Sun from beaming down upon him, but God also prepared a worm to eat at the leaves, and it withered away. When Jonah awoke the following morning, the Sun was beating down upon him, and he became very weak and fainted; Again, he was angry and wished that he would die. God corrected Jonah saying, "You had more pity on a plant than you did for a city full of lost people who can't decern between their right hand and their left hand." Jonah had quickly forgotten how God had just spared his life as he wrestled at the bottom of the sea with weeds wrapped around his head; yet God spared his life when he prayed. He had refused to move pass his own way and lacked compassion for others.

Jonah chose to move in the opposite direction of what God had instructed him to, and it almost cost him his life. But God was merciful towards him and gave him another chance to carry out the task that he commissioned him to do. We don't always get second chances after we choose to disobey God; so, it behooves us to walk in obedience to God's instructions and willingly follow his guidance. Jonah is a perfect example of how we fail to understand the significance or magnitude of a matter until we receive a taste of our own medicine. After which, we gain clarity to examine ourselves and our selfish view of things. Just like the popular quote says: "Don't judge me until you have walked a mile in my shoes." This takes us back to Love, for everything is centered around Love: practice showing Love, Understanding and Compassion towards others because everything you do or think towards another, you do it unto yourself. also. Actually, you may not realize it but every seed you plant grows in your ground first; so, don't expect others to reap what you have sown towards them to miss you because it won't. You will also reap the harvest of your own actions; as soon as you plant the seed, God immediately initiate your "RETURN". It's called "KARMA" and it applies to all seeds, the GOOD and the BAD!

In Esther Chapter 5: Esther who had just recently became the wife of King Ahasuerus exercised bravery and courage when she went before the Kings throne without first receiving permission to do so; a move of action that meant death. Esther made this bold move because of Haman, who was the King's chief minister, who had conspired to kill all the Jews. He had this vendetta against the Jews because Mordecai refused to bow before him to reverence his presence, like all the other servants did. So, Haman being full of pride and ego refused to move pass Mordecai's resistance to honor him. Therefore, he took vengeance against him and plotted against the Jews; when Mordecai learned about Haman's conspiracy, he sent a message to Esther to go before the King. She hesitated at first, in fear for her life but Mordecai, who was her uncle, persisted that she does this daring task. Eventually, Esther decided to go before the King that he may spare their lives. She said, "If I perish, then I perish:" When Esther stood before the king, he granted her access to approach him, for she had obtained favor in his sight. In the end Haman and his family was hanged on the gallows that he made ready for Mordecai. The king gave Mordecai the ring he had taken from Haman and set him over his house. Mordecai became great in the king's house, and his fame went out throughout all the provinces, and he became greater and greater. Esther's boldness dismantled Haman's plot to kill the Jews, who had already accepted their fate that they were going to die; yet her movement restored their hope and saved the lives of many.

In Exodus Chapter 5: Moses and his brother Aaron went before Pharaoh saying, "The Lord God of Israel, says to let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness." They went before Pharaoh many times with a message from God to let his people go, so that they could serve him, but his hard was hardened and he refused repeatedly. Finally, God delivered the Israelites with the force of his Mighty Hand and parted the Red Sea for them to cross over. Pharaoh hardened his heart once more and sent his horsemen and all his host after them. God caused the waters to fall upon them; the chariots, horsemen and all the host drowned in the sea; for God had said, "The Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gotten my honor upon Pharaoh."

"Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall." (Proverbs 16:18)

When God gives us instructions we must obey or risk a worser thing to come upon us. When God say move, we need to move; when God say let go, we need to let go; when God says don't look back, we better not look back. When God gives us instructions it's for a reason and for our own good, no matter how simple or complex it may appear. Then there are those times when you have to make moves that require bravery, courage and strength and even during those times God will be with you. It was God who caused Pharaoh's heart to be hardened; sometimes God will allow you to suffer hardship to test your faith in Him. Regardless of what obstacles you face, you must always trust in the Lord to see you through, for he will never fail you.

KNOWING WHEN NOT TO MOVE

"Be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."

(1 Corinthians 15:58)

There are times on our Path when movement is necessary and required but there are also those times when we should remain still; therefore, we need to know when we should not make any movements. Then there are those times where you have worked hard to get in a certain position and the goal is to maintain it; in such cases you should never be moved. When you ground and center yourself energetically, then you don't ever want to become ungrounded or uncentered. Therefore, regardless of what's going on with you or around you, being steadfast and unmovable is essential for your continued development and growth. The time will come when you will be tested to see if you have learned from past experiences; testing is necessary to determine if you're ready to move to the next level. Often times when you face difficulty and challenging situations, you have no one to offer guidance, but you have to learn how to stand on your own and encourage your own selves. Ultimately, we are striving to move towards independence and learn how to govern our lives completely; to be in a position where you know what's the best moves for your Destined Path and Soul's Journey.

It's important to stay focused and intentional about everything you do; you can't afford to have any slipups; although, from time to time you will, but as long as you get back on course quickly, you will be fine. Life is like mathematics: there are those things that add to our life, things that subtract from us, things that multiply and there are those things that causes us to be divided. Whether you do it to yourself or if you allow others; either way it is happening. You just got to know which part of the equations in which you are vibing to. You must be wise in deciphering the role that others play in your life; if the people in your circle are good for you then they will cause your life to flourish. Their energy will be uplifting and peaceful, reflecting high vibrational frequencies. If their energy reflects that which is of low vibrations, then you will feel it. If their presence in your life causes you trouble, confusion or lack of peace then they are subtracting from you. If you continue to have people like this around you and you're investing your energy in them, then your energy will become scattered, divided and depleted. So, invest your energy wisely; what you invest your time in should be multiplied with increase and not divided.

So, don't be afraid to eliminate who and what that needs to leave your life; be on board for radical change in your life, dream big and pursue it. Exercise boldness, flow with ease, be strong, stay grounded, centered, and seek clarity regarding when to move and when not to move.

I was watching a movie in which the role of Harriet Tubman was being portrayed. She spoke about how after she had escaped slavery, she went back for her husband. She sent word to him through someone else, of where he should meet her and he returned the message stating that he was not coming. She then learned that he had moved on and had another woman staying in her house. For a moment she lost herself and was about to go to the house and go straight off. Then she quickly came to her senses and thought about her actions for in doing so, it would jeopardize everything she had worked hard for. Then she said to herself, "If he doesn't want me then I don't want him." She kept her leveled head and continued her mission in helping other slaves to reach freedom. Although, she was angry and hurt, she knew that it would have been unwise to make that move.

This is also a perfect example of how some people don't want to move to a better place in life. They are content with where they are and are not interested in growing and evolving. If you have people in your life like this then let them be or they will pull you down while you're trying to pull them up. Some moves are not meant to be made, so know when you should stay put. Your commitment, dedication and devotion should be to self, first; honor yourself with an unwavering and uncompromising faith, stay on guard and tuned in regarding your directions in life.
